how much paint

im getting ready to paint my truck and im thinking about two toning it does anybody know how much of each color i would need and should i do the darker coor on bottom and the light on top or the dark on top and light on bottom

Traditionally the dark color always goes on the top. Some people will probably disagree with me but 95% of the time it looks better that way.

i guess it depends on which colors you are using whether which one goes on top and bottom. usually i like the darker on top and the lighter on bottom. i think the lighter draws your eyes down making your truck look lower. and we know you need all the help you can get.....lol j/k

yeah i could use some help mikey dont you wanna come give me a hand cause im doing it in an autobody class to where i only have for hours to clean the booth,tape up the truck,wet sand it, and spray then be back b4 8 the next morning to untape it and get it back together

I just got prices on paint form mine and the guy told me that I will need 2 quarts for the bottom and 1 for the top. I'm gone go black on top factory color on the bottom. That's spraying over a gray sealer. And if you only have 4 hours why not do all your prep at home. So you can drive in and wash it and wipe it down and start spraying you can do your primer work at home if you have a decent size compressor.

well i just decided to go with a solid color for now i can always go back with a sconde color if i want but thanks for the info
