front marker lamps?

Has anyone painted the inside of there front marker lights? Mine are the nasty off white color and I thought I might paint them black. I was wondering if anyone has painted them and if it changed the amount of light output. I could stand a little dimmer light cause mine are bright as hell. Let me know.

im gonna tint mine hopefully within the next week or so and from what i have seen it only affests it a lil if any at all if done right. but i would use straight black paint you need to mix just enough black with some clear and spray it like a candy paint

i'm not talking about doing the lenses. I'm wanting to do the inside of the lamps.

i painted my corners white and they brighter at night .. iam talking bout the housing NOt lens ..

What bulbs are you running in your corner lenses? They should be #67 bulbs which shouldn't be to bright but #1156 bulbs fit right in which are way way brighter. I painted the back housings on my corners and both sets of all clear taillights with "almost chrome" paint to make them brighter.

If i had to guess i would say they are #1156. They are bright as hell I know that. I may try putting the #67 bulbs in and see how that works out. Thanks for the heads up. I figure I'm going to paint them to cause they look like feces. haha.

1157 are twist in blinker type....
