can anyone help me out?

we used a wheel "like clear yellow eraser texture"called a worth wheel at the body shop all the time .its the best thing to use takes minutes ,dont use thinner or scape anything unless you dont care about your paint honestly

40 grit on a DA sander and then some high build primer. LOL

mineral spirits will not damage your paint. and it will get rid of the glue. but yes a heat gun works really well.
