I'm not sure if this is the right forum... Hope so.

Anyway, I need to pull the cab on my 92 b2200 reg cab. I'm currently in the process of bagging it. 3-link is done, time to move on to the front of the truck.

Can anyone tell me what is involved the removing the cab? I did a search of the forums but only found that it is "easy", no specific directions haha. I know it is similar to the bed, but just wonder of any unforseen issues that will arise like steering columns and the like?

Thanks for any help!

just undo bolts and work ur way thru disconnecting everything that stops it from lifting off, ie. steering rod, brake likes, wiring loom<

Maybe take alota photos wen u do and make a tech for everyone else???

Good call. Garage camera is always in there so I'll do that. Start tackling it tonight actually.

Alright, I think I'm almost done getting the cab all disconnected. I have taken LOTS of pictures, and noted all steps along the way.

The problem here is, I'm definitely no HTML kinda guy... what formats do people here usually do writeups in? Is microsoft word acceptable?

Just open a photobucket account and upload the images there. Then there is a IMG tab for each pic. Click on that and it will give you the IMG code. Paste that here with the right click and highlight paste. As far as MS Word goes, you can do a write up there, then just do a copy paste to here. Or you can just type it here.

Exactly, I use MS Word to compile what I want to say including the various codes, then copy / paste it to the site. We are currently working on the new Techi section which involves coping good tech articles from the norma Tech section to the new Techi section. In the new section you will be able to search for what you want MUCH easier.

Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure if it was done in a regular thread or not. I'll host the images on my server or photobucket, depending how many I've got, and then do a write up. Like the first person to respond said "Just undo bolts and work through unhooking everything else.". I'll try to make a good writeup of it, but there really is not a lot more to it than that... until you get to actually LIFTING the damn thing off there.
