thats not too bad. you should be able to get behind that a little bit and knock it out pretty good, or if you know of anyone with a stud gun you could pull that out fairly close to where it should be...

I think i looked and it's really hard to get behind it with any force. It's that one big crease I'm mostly worried about

I can cut you one out at the yard i deal with if you are still looking for one.

hey man what happened to your rear bed, did you get rear ended? that happened to me and my insurance covered it, but get this, the body shop charged my insurance $1400 (my truck only costed $1800!?!), plus my dad fixed most of the damage before it went to the body shop. Due to how the convex corner was made concaved, you'll probably need to cut out the damaged section, hammer it back into shape by referencing the other corner, then weld it back in and use a little (very little if possible) bondo. good luck, but that's the problem when there's no bumper on the back of these trucks.

I feel a little silly for asking this. But i got my rollpan, its one with a tag box in the middle. I was just wondering wear do i cut. As in where do i cut the existing panel that is there? For a long time i thought i chopped it further to the bed sides(directly under the tailgate latch). But i get this strange feeling the only thing i cut is a place for tag box to fit in and i weld the roll pan over the existing panel. Can someone straighten this out for me.

Thanks

You have to cut out the stock "rollpan" so the one you bought fits flush with the body. . Jus put your rollpan up to the body and mark where the edges are and cut out the body at those lines. . You can cut out the middle part like you were sayin so it'll fit flush to mark the lines. . But you def wanna cut it out. . Do'nt jus leave it there. . .

haha. . well i guess it wouldnt have mattered if you would trimmed the edges of the roll pan to fit down into the sunk in part of the stock "rollpan". . . . . It woulda worked but everybody would chuckled under their breath about it. . . HAHAHAHAHAHA <<< me chuckling softly. .
