When replacing the windshield trim, do the clips ALWAYS break? Can they be replaced? Where can I order them from?

thanks

I don't know what they would cost but I am pretty sure that any auto body shop/body repair shop could get them for you! They deal with those things everyday!!! Or possibly even an auto parts store!!??

Yea, they can be replaced. I am gonna get some from the yard here one of these days....I had some break and my trim went flying off so I gotta get that replaced....they just pop off and back on...small screwdriver should do it.

just put a new windshield in my truck actually! that funny there a post about it right around the time... sometimes the clips look bad but may be reusable... i pulled the trim off my parts truck and utilized all the 'best looking' ones to put my trim back on... also some extra urethane under bad clips and tape the trim down for a day to 2...

I'm prolly gonna try to get some new ones just to be safe. I got the chrome trim I wanna put on

My trim blew off coming back from ///RA Allstar Event got some new trim but the clips have seen better days. Did you find a place that sales them? I haven't had any luck. Also what kind of urethane glue should be used if I glue them?

I got mine from ppg when i ordered my windshield. I think it was 8 bucks for every clip that goes around the windshield. Any glass shop should be able to get them. if your going to glue them in you may not be able to get the trim back off with out messing it up. but i would use windshield urethane if i was going to do it.
