recessing headlights

i have an 86' and i just ordered the full phantom grille from jbm trucks and i know i have to recess the lights. i havent recieved the grille yet but i was wondering what i have to do to recess them so i can do it before the grille arrives. thanks guys

i just cut the buckets behind the lights then screw the screw all the way in and made a new hole for the spring... been rockin em like that for a year now..

did u cut the bucket the light sits in or the hole in the core support, i took my grille and bumper off today. i have a new chrome front bumper cuz mine had dents and i wanna recess the lights at work tomorrow or saturday.

the core support... if you take a head on picture of the core support close to where the light sits i will show you what i did

ill have my girl lend me the camera again. i still have the grille off, i jus replaced my dented up chrome front bumper with a brand new one yesterday, lines up great im pretty happy
