right now im using the FBI brackets to hold my toyota 2wd bumper to my truck
i was wondering if its the same brackets to put on a 4runner bumper
its the mazda to toyota combo brackets

nope. the brackets for the 4runner are different

does this go for all of the 4runner bumpers?
i wanted to put the 90's bumper
around 95 i think

The brackets for all the different Yota bumpers are each different. If you want to change bumpers, you will have to change brackets too. I have also noticed that FBI brackets need to be sectioned and welded again. I cut a 5 degree pie section out and re-welded the bracket to keep the rear of the bumper from sagging. Or you can just bolt it up and have it look crappy like half of the people that buy them.

i just picked up a 95 4runner bumper with the brackets.. and let me tell you that they dont even come close to lining up correctly. I dont know if they are the FBI brackets but they look similar. I have an 86 B2000 do you think that couldd be the issue?? They're are least an inch off from side to side. @droppedmydawg- can you post some pics of how you cut your brackets..

heres some that Bodied B2600zx (Josh) made, and just fyi he used the stock bumper brackets and obviously did some fab work to them
