Scallop paint!

Man can anyone help me out i have been looking for scallop paint jobs on trucks. Not really finding any that are mini trucks. Really like how they look when done right.

Thats the kinda stuff i was looking for..... does it show my age? I remember doing that to a few rigs with newspaper and rattle can . Thanks linn .... now if i could find some shots of the old chevy s-10 puzzle truck they sold!

LOL, think I used news print and rattle cans to do that scallop job! As for the puzzle job, sorry got nothing for ya.

Hey linn do you know the paint im talking about? Not sure if it was a GM thing or if it was a local thing they did. But back in the late 80s early 90s they had s-10s that came with a puzzle type paint job.

i think someone had a scallop job for a while on here with a pre85.. only one i can think of is maztang but i dont think it was him... anyone else remember that???

I love that black one! I was thinking about going that way, except on my white, and doing the old school look with some plain rally style wheels.

Yes, there used be an off white pre with red scallops on here that I've searched the forums for. It was the sweetest looking pre on here imo. I think he also had an off white and red plaid interior. That truck was to be my inspiration sort of. If you find PLEASE post the link or pics here.
