So I'm sure almost everyone on the forums has accidentally done this at one time in there life but is it fixable? If you have light pitting from flying metal debris is it possible to polish it out?

I know i'm going to be told to go and get a new window but it seams so light it could buff out but how?

Thanks guys

Well i hit the glass with an exact o blade and it cleaned everything up pretty nicely its not even noticeable. Anyone use any glass polishes with the pyramid shaped abrasives in them? Ive used some plastic window abrasive polish on the heavy equipment i operate at work with great success.

razor blade takes down the high spots but the metal is burnt into the glass it will rust for life lol... find ya a donor and get a new window cause the hot metal melts into the glass and a buffer won't pull it out.

a new one is way cheaper to get. you can find them for 25 bucks at local yards

lots of yards dont like to pull windshields.

The only yard i go to is the only one in the city that lets you pull your own parts. Im sure they are still going to tell me 100+ for back glass even if i pull it myself from one of the 6+ b's they have at the yard
they wanted $50-$120 just for a tail gate from a 90!

go down there and get the midnight auto discount!! get it ready during the day trip, and then visit again at night. or fill your pits with super glue. it dries clear and if you don't GLOB it on there it won't be noticible either.
