removing old pinstriping/decals?

so I used an eraser wheel to remove the old pinstriping and mazda logos. it did not remove the adhesive part on the pinstriping. I tried goo gone and it wouldn't touch it. I'm going to try 3M adhesive remover as I've heard it works well. any other ideas to remove it?

the wheel should have got that too, maybe you didn't push hard......not sure ....but not to hard to burn the paint...try rubbing alcohol... in small amounts

Yep it took everything off of mine.
