I have a good sized dent in both my cab corners from the previous farmer who owned the truck and I'd rather weld in new metal than try to hammer out these dents. I have tried pro body parts and another place who sells replacement non oem parts but can't track down weld in cab corners. Does anyone know where I could pick these up? Do they even make them? Would some one cut them out of a totaled cab for me? Paypal ready!!!

Thanks in advance guys

cut out the part thats dented , trace it onto a peice of sheet metal , cut it out a bit bigger then the traced part then weld her in ?????

If it was as easy at that i would do it that way. but if you see the picture the crease runs almost right into the cab corner and the replacement panel is something i dont think i would easily be able to recreate. The damage is in a pretty bad spot.

shouldnt be that hard

Well its definetly possible but there is another reason i am after the full cab corner replacements

there was just a small hole the size of a coin but this was underneath

Does anyone know if there are weld in panels available for our truck?

id pull the dent and just cut the whole back of the cab out and replace it with one sheet of metal make it nice and smooth

How would you suggest pulling a dent on a body line like that? tap it out front the inside if its accessable?
use a pin gun?

thanks!

yes a spits (stud gun)

pull with a slide hammer and tap the bulge out

doesn't have to be a spitznagel gun.(although they're nice) harbor freight sells stud guns too for like under $100

i don't think anyone makes reproduction mazda body panels lol. if your going to cut out the back cab wall brace the cab. and remember those ribs are there for a reason. they add an immense amount of strength. a flat piece of sheetmetal won't cut it.
