hey i got this bush bar for cheap, so i'm starting to mock it up to see how it looks. i need to modify it a bit. the last owner didnt know what it came off of. i could hazard a guess at a nissan pathfinder? whats my best bet at bending the tubing where it rests currently on the top of my bumper? i'm kinda figuring some heat (will a propane torch be enough?...prolly not) and just smackin it with a piece of wood resting on it and a BFH!... i'm counting on having to repaint it...not a big deal. but is there an easier way that is cheap/free? and does it/will it look alright? i should have pulled the truck outta the garage for more room around it and better pics...
also rims, i got a spare set of rims for the truck... i think they are isuzu rodeo rims. aluminum, 15" same size as the steelies on the truck right now, i could just swap over all the tires. if i uses the aluminum ones, i'll probably want to paint them maybe gunmetal. if i;m keeping the steelies, they'll be cleaned up and repainted a similar color or just black also... i could do the aluminum with leaving the lip as it is/shiny, and painting the rest (the truck does have chrome trim), but i dont like them this color. the steelies i was kinda thinking the same deal but with the lip painted red? maybe slight red accents somewhere else on each wheel too? like freehand pinstripe style?
any ideas, please add.
