Shaving back of cab??

Ok Im thinking of cutting out the back of my cab and welding in a new piece of smooth metal. Anybody have any pics of how they did it or any tips on the best way to do it. Thanks.

brace the cab with some scrap tubing in an X before u cut anything. remember those ribs on the wall are there for strength. a flat piece of sheetmetal, while better looking, is not very strong.

Ok thanks for the tips. Can I cut the bracing out after I get it all welded in, the new back wall?

put it over the stock wall, flat looks with the strong wall under it...only cut out what sticks out past flat
