I need a new rad support. The place I'd normally get these things from (cross canada parts) lists having one "RAD SUPPORT MAZDA P/U B2000/2200 86-91; B2600 87-88". Why does it only go to 91? Is this just a flaw in their catalog, or was there actually a difference? Mine is a 1992.

This is the photo they give of it. Looks to be about the same as far as I can tell?

The only difference that I know of is that the b2600 has a larger cut out for the radiator than a b2200. Some of the parts that bolt to it might be in different location but it should work.

Awesome. That's what I suspected. There is nothing stock about this truck, so I was expecting to need to build brackets and stuff in there for intercooler and rad, etc. Just didn't want to find it was the wrong width or height or something. Even still... probably would have had to buy it and make it work since the old one is cut up and gone haha.

Thanks.

look out for the aftermarket stuff... i'm not sayin its all the same but one time i replaced a core support on my crx with one of these things. I took my time made sure all my measurements were straight. not only did the bumper not fit properly the headlights sat all kinds of f'ed up.it wasnt even that bad to begin with, i should have just pulled it out. I always try to get oem if possible some junkyards will cut the front end for you or take a rechargeable saw zall and grab it. it was def. some tawain bs never again, but best of luck to you with your project.

Cross canada parts are great i have had to get a rad saddle for the toyota and the nissan and they worked out great and for the mazda rad saddle they are the same for 86 t0 92

Yeah. Insurance company here actually buys parts from cross canada, not OEM (Where your bumper used to have the "Acura" emblem, it's now just smooth. That's about the only difference). If they legally can do that for insurance claims, it's gotta be DAMN close, and no one ever complains. My fenders on my truck are cross canada and the body lines and gaps are ABSOLUTELY perfect (I'm picky).

Thanks guys! Just wanted to be sure there wasn't some unforseen difference due to using a different rad in 1992 or something lol. WWWOO! Project moves along.

(FWIW, my core support was pretty minty (more so than any other one I've ever seen), but, I've got the entire truck 100% rust free, so even a rust spot the size of a quarter on there was too much for me to live with, which is why anything used is out of the question.)
