I am thinking of putting my buddies V8 motor in the truck and figured the best bet is to just swap the whole drive train. Engine, trans, driveshaft, and rear end. Now my question is this, since the lugs on his car are 5 bolt. What can I swap up front to have them match? Will it be a good swap or something that would require lots of work? If it takes a lot of work then I just keep the 6 lug front and have 5 lug rear. Plan is to go thru some tire anyway, haha. Thanks for all info guys.

What kind of car is this? It will of course depend on the bolt pattern on a car, if it is a Mustang the bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5 which is the same for Ford Rangers, Explorers, Mustangs, Toyota Pickups, Eclipse and others.

Many people swap Toyota spindles.

You will most likely have to get a custom made drive shaft or the one from the car shortened or lengthened.

For the work it kind of depends on what car you are going to use many guys on here have done engine swaps
