Just got a beer keg (empty lol)...Been wanting to do this for awhile now. Anybody done it before? or know of some good info?

Either way i'll keep posted with the build

I know this doesn't help, but in the latest Mini Truckin mag there is a truck in the "Construction Zone" with a beer keg for a gas tank. Good luck with yours.

I'd do it but have no way of welding aluminum. My buddy mad a pretty sweet grill out of one. GL on it

Biggest thing is just making sure it is sealed. Sloshing shouldn't be an issue, look at the size of the suburban tanks and such. None that I have seen use baffles.

yeah didn't plan on using the baffles, another "redneck" rock crawler friend of mine has two connected (2 15 gallons) and neither have sloshing issues, and his has flipped twice.

the Kegs are dented to hell and back but still hold his fuel

talked to Fro, and got some insight on how he began, so i'm just waiting for the army paycheck to come in and get some stuff tig welded.
