RCI Fuel Cell

Hey guys i have a 17 gallon RCI 2171A Fuel Cell (17"X30"X7")

Its 0 - 90 ohm
and i believe # 8 an male for return/pickup and rollover vent

would this give me an accuarate readin on the stock mazda guages and any ideas where to purchase these fittings for the lines (preferably a place youve ordered from and can be trusted)

I haven't found a trustworthy source that states the ohm ratings on our fuel gauges, but it's definitely not 0-90. For the fittings, I ordered all the An stainless lines and fittings from Summit Racing.

Also is there different types of fittings or just 3 of the same will work as long as they are 8 an , no pressure adaptors ect. ?? and what size fuel lines will i need to run same as a stock b2200 or no?

I've heard that it will make your stock gas gauge read the opposite, so if you have a full tank it will read empty. I don't have a RCI tank yet so I can't say for sure that is how it is, but the research I have done said it reads opposite.

Just put a RCI tank in mine and the gas guage does read opposite. But other then that it reads fairly accurate.

i ordered all the fittings and steel braided lines. do i need a external fuel pump?? if so what kind and where can i get it . also how did u run the fuel lines to the ones near the engine 8 an - stock is big difference

-8an is a half inch. an fittings are all 16th's. your stock line is probably more like 1/4" - 3/8"

that fuel cell should not include one.

carb engines have a mechanical fuel pump on the block. i do not know where the pump is on an injected engine.

when you removed the old tank, was there one wire on the tank? that would give you a clue that there is no pump in there, and you will not need a new one.

was there 3 or 4 wires?, its in there. you need to buy one
