weird question

ok tomorrow i should be doin a under bed notch, gonna run mono leaf 4" angled block with air shocks, and reindex torsions, but i have a question can i cut my rubber body mounts and cut the same amount out of my bed mounts reweld them and have a budget body drop to make truck lower? is there any problems i will run into chopping the body mounts? thanks for the answers or help. much appreciated.

Theres a lot more work then its worth for a very minimal drop.

you will need to cut the front bumper and core support mounts too. I agree with mazdaron. way too much work for maybe a 1/2 inch bd. then if you wanna do a real BD down the road you will have to redo the BD which will royally suck.

Thanks guys. I didn't notice how small the body mounts were lol I'm gonna walk away from that idea untill it gets bagged lol
