Shaved door handles

How do I get the door handle off without fuckin it up. Also the rods inside the door. I dont wanna mess the actual lock inside. I was going to cut them but I would like to do it the right way. Thanks!!

That is the right way. the rod that operates the latch from the out side handle needs to be bent and broken to get it out.

lol... Figured that. I was hoping to save the clips in case someone needed them.

The clips can be rotated to undo them except the big one on the back side of the handle. it has a little door that can be pryed on with a flathead screwdriver to get it to open. then the rod can be pulled out. but the rod needs to be cut or bent to remove it. I usually cut most of it off then use the elongated hole to wrap the cable through for the popper.

Unscrew all the fasteners, pop the clips off the rods, and everything will come right out.
