K guys, I wanna shave my wiper cowl, and I'm looking for tips on any, fairly easy, way to do it. Any tips?

My plan is to cut the center out (part with the vents), and keep the edges so I don't have to form the contour. Once I removed the center section I would then screw the outer pieces back on the truck, law a piece of sheet metal under and between the two pieces. Mark it with a marker, remove and make my cuts, being sure to leave a bit extra front and back to replace my lips for strength. Then form my breaks for the lips and weld the three pieces back together and reinstall.

I hope that made sense.

Or you could do this the most simplest way on earth and order a cowl skin from Grant Kustoms...

Just make not the grant piece is some sort of overlay that does require fab work.

To me, at the price, just doesn't make sense. But definitely another option.
