Tailgate size?

So is the tailgate on the 86-93 the same and is it the same as say the pre 86 or the post 93s? I've been wondering this for a while now. Also is the Ford Ranger tailgate the same? Thanks as always

No to all accounts. The 86-93 isn't identical to anything. The 94+ rangers and Bxx0 trucks are the same, but not the same as the 86-93 in any way
