bodydrop question....

i have a question on bodydropping a single cab mazda.

ill first start with im 6'6'' tall and im wondering how well im going to fit if i bodydrop my truck to the pinch or true rocker. i dont want to body my truck then not be able to fit in it afterwards

when bodydropping a b2200 does the motor come through the hood? what if anything...has to be done to the steering?
...so if anyone can chime in it will be a big help..

i'm not much help on you fitting in haha. i guess it depends on how low you're trying to go if you'll come thru the hood or not. we're in the process of traditional bd-ing mine 3 3/8 and nothing came thru the hood. it was a tough fit, but i swapped to a b2600i hood and cut a good bit of the bracing from the underside for additional clearance. i didn't have to do anything to my steering either.

I know a guy that did 3" and had bubble hood and it cleared

I bodydropped 5 1/2" and am running a stock hood...

Oh but i have a rotary lol.


What kind of bodydrop are u looking to do? If u do a stock floor then u lose no headroom..
