what size carriage bolts hold on the valance and bumper ends mine are all rusted solid and gonna have to replace them

6mm x 1.0 thread. I've seen that size at Ace Hardware nearest me.

I only know this because about 6 weeks ago I replaced the center section of my own '88 front bumper - it had a small dent from when I bought it in 1994, was mostly hidden by a front license plate.
I got pissed when the replacement center section had square holes that were too-small for the original carriage bolts, and I had to go out and buy replacement ones. So during this process the bumper caps had to get moved over, and I painted the bumper caps and lower grille black at the same time to match (Krylon Fusion).

My replacement center section came with round holes so I used bigger I think 3/8 carriage bolts
