I need some input on ranger lights!

I installed a set of ranger headlights over the weekend. I got the lights off ebay for under 50 bucks and used this forum to install them. Everything went pretty easy but the problem I have run into is the light are very dim. Low/high beams work like they should, there just not bright at all. Does anyone know if theres something else I need to do?

just park with a wall 10 or 20 feet in front of your truck and see where the lights are aimed. aim them where u think is best. probly aim them downward alil. i would think thats y they are dim. that or shitty bulbs. c

or a possible bad ground?\

I installed HID's in my ranger lights. They are very bright!
I got a 35W Kit off DDMTuning.com

I'll check the grounds. I didnt but the HD lights. There just stock ranger headlights with standard 9007 bulbs. Thanks for the help
