hood......

Some of you guys wanted to see more pics of the hood on my project. Today I got most of it finished up, except for the body work. I think the welding and fab work is about done though. The previous owner started all of this and I had to pick up where he left off so honestly it's not how I would have chosen to have it look underneath but I did what I could with it. I still have plans to put some filler on the underside to make it a little more smooth than it is but here ya go.

Was this for a 2.2 (for looks) or the result of an engine swap needing/wanting more air?

I'm not actually 100% sure what the hood is original to. The vents were cut into it more for looks if I had to take a guess but they will serve the engine with better air flow to the intake and I'd think maybe even let heat escape a little easier. The truck does have a tbi 350 Chevrolet stuffed down into it though.
