8.8 ford rear end swap?

hey guys has anyone done or considered doing a mustang or ranger 8.8 rear end? would it fit? and what would it take to work? lmk guys im interested on swapping for a five lug and stronger rear end cause im doing a 302 swap and not having any luck on used b2600i axles.

I just put an explorer 8.8 under my truck. Had to narrow the drivers side 3 inches to center the pumpkin. It's about 1 7/8 shorter than the stock mazda axle.

How'd you do that? And did it bolt up for the most part?

Nothing just bolts up fabrication is part of the fun in owning these trucks. Mine is bagged so I have a 4 link in the rear. Had to have a custom drive shaft made. Used the Lokar ec-81fu kit for the e brake cables. If you have extended cab you will have to order a longer inner cable for the passenger side.
