Covering the dash

I would like to wrap my dash with leather or pleather. Has anyone done this? Not sure what to do with the bezels and face plates though. I'd like to be able to wrap the main gauge cluster bezel too. Anyone?

I'm sure you can do it because people wrap entire dash boards with tweed all day long. Tweed is easy to use because it stretches really easy.

tweed is the usual. it owuld be hard to get leather to pull and bend on a lot of the parts.

you could also fiberglass it

I'm sure it can be done. I've seen some pretty nice stuff done on some of the TV rebuild shows. If nothing else I guess I could get one sewn for it.

I tried to do the headliner in my f150 in pleather....it wouldnt stretch at all....there were a ton of creases, and it really looked like hell....i might try something other than leather.

You could probably paint it the color you want much easier than you could cover it.
