mazda cluster with tach

i have a cluster with the tach, but my truck came without one, how do i make this work i plugged it in and tried it and nutin worked...

it should work all i hade to do what plug mine in when i hade the 2.2..

some have the wiring for the tach and some dont.....

you pay have to wire the tach up.....i am not sure where to run the wirse to though

you run the wire for the tach to the coil

yea, i no i was just wondering what SlammedMini469 was talking about....

in the later years of the truck i think 89 and up instead of making to differnt harrness for the trucks thay used just one so if you truck did not come with a tach in the 89 and up to add it all you had to do was switch them but the pre 89 you have to add the wires that thay did not have there

i have an 87 and the tach combo came outa an 86... i plugged it in and nutin worked not the speedo or anything...
