I swapped in a new Dash bezel today and everything works on it except the speedo and odometer...
the tach, gas, heat, digital clock, and all lights working.

when i pulled the cable out of the dash the little pin was still sticking in the dash rather than in the cable... so i had to pull it out, and put it back in cable. do you think that is broke or any other ideas for solutions?

I'm guessing you switched to a cluster with a tach? Sounds like you might have a broken cable. When I put a tach cluster in mine the cable broke for some reason. I guess they don't like being messed with.

did you replace it or what?

sweet. i have a parts truck, so ill have to pull that one off.
so how hard is it to replace?
and where does it get attached to?

It gets attached to the side of the tranny, if u get under there u'll deff be able to find it just follow the cable from the back of the cluster down..
