Any A/C guru's out there?

My A/C is tempermental. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. (the light on the switch lets me know if it's on or off) If I leave it on all the time, it does better. It's not a freon issue, it's cold when it works. Most likely electrical? Any ideas?

mine did the same problem, it would work whenever. I got a new switch and it works fine now.
