how could u run the faceplate up there?

all you need to do for that, is take some wire, an extend it.. like were it clips into the radio its self.. the cd still goes into the slot where the "brain" of it is..

i saw it once online.. i think it was s10forum, but he used 2 cd players to make it work.. it looks sweet.

on bothmy trucks its in the same place mikes is. In the dash

they make a wireless where you can put the face anywhere. About 10 years ago my friend had the face in the rear view. So the technology is there you just have to look for it.

um the little clip on both the deckplate, an the "brain" like where it clips in.. the metal..just solder wires to that.

sweet. sounds pretty simple but i have never seen it done...

i wish to try it.. but i wanna find a so called beater deck.. before i screw up my good one

i was gonna move mine to make space for a big ass tv (11.3" i think) but i no longer have money for the tv nor do i have the skill to solder the conections
