fiberglassing

ok i am gona be done w/ me exterior work soon...i am gona make a custom console this summer and i was wondering. i have never fiberglassed before and id like 2 get some help and some other info. if yall no/have anything it would be awesome if i could get some help.
also im in the process of makin some door panels out of just regular ol thin hardboard. im makin the type where its 2 layers, the bottom layer is where the holes are cut out for the lil plastic clips and the top layer has just the door handle and window crank cut out, question is, can this be fiberglass then painted? what do i need to buy and do? also, how long (not including dryin time) will it take for a new guy 2 do this thanks - fanninator
