Hi folks !!

How do I remove the stock radio antena on an 87 B2000 ??

Some jerk broke off the antenna at the base and I need to remove and replace with something generic for the time being.

Thx for your input !!!

I think on the underside of the fender, there should be some kind of a clip you remove and the whole thing slides down into the engine compartment.

I think when i took mine off it was a nut. Just unscrew it and it should come out from the top. You might have to disconnect your antenna line to do this. Be careful and dont get pissed and try to force anything that spot will bend very easily.

i think (im like 80% here) that you can pull the pass innerfender thing (its plastic) out. on the top side there is a small nut that holds in it (its part of the base) pull that then look behind the fender there will be a tube bolted to the inner fender (metel) take that loose (should be bolted on with 2 i think) then you can slide it out it will be easyer if you pull the fender me i just took a old one from a Pontiac Grand am and cut the screw end off and stuck it down in the hole and used pliers to crimp the old one around it to make it tight works pretty good till i replace the fender

you take the inner wheel well thing off. the plastic part. unscrew the top of the antena and unbolt the bottom part it slides right out.
