Antenna Receiption?

Ok, the reception in my truck is crappy. I just bought a new head unit not to long ago and need to know how to make the quality of the radio a bit better. Is there an amplifier I can buy that will actually do something? Need some input on this one.

my reception sucked. i couldnt pick up my fav. rock station (X106.3) up in my drive way! so i shaved the antinna and installed a honda civic one....i picked up 106.3 better that the radio in the shop...and i was probably 40 feet in a shop with one of 2 garage doors open. try it. i love the look of mine

cool, but can I buy something to wire in series with my antenna to help it?

Yes, they do sell inline boosters.
