AS FOR THE SHORT THROW SHIFTER mazdaBon2nd, CHECK OUT A NON TURBO RX-7 SHIFTER FROM ABOUT THE SAME YEARS AS OUR TRUCK, THE TRANNYS ARE THE SAME, SO THE SHIFTER MIGHT WORK?????

is there any cool mods out there for a auto shifter for auto trans.

i would like to update the look with a shorty kind of like a Jetta

I don't know about from the non turbo trannies, but I tried one from a turbo tranny it doesn't work.

turbo rx-7 tranny's are different than ours.....from what i've read on mazdatruckin the nonturbos tranny's will directly fit our trucks if you swap the bellhousing & tailsection as those are different....the tailsection is a little longer, but the same configuration, so a shifter from one of those might work....?
