Remember, the hazards use an un-switched power source. Turns are switched through the ignition.
Also, there are a series of fuses each circuit depends on. Under the hood, the hazards run through the 30amp BTN fuse, while the turns(and the rest of the IGN switch) rely on the 80amp main. From there, the hazards go through the fuse panel under the dash marked "hazard"... who woulda' thunk. The turns go through the "meter" fuse.
