How should i go about Splicing into the main wires? in the middle of them? or closer to the end? or does it matter? and then soldering and shrink wrapping, right? not sure how to shrink wrap a 3 wires together, 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other? with 2 different size shrink wraps...let me know. dont wanna make a mess.

what i do is, take my wire strippers and cut the insulation then, 1/2 an inch away cut it again, use a knife to cut from one end to the other and the piece should come right off, then take a pick or the end of a test light and jam it into the the bare wire, now u have a loop in the wire, then stip back about an 1'' to an 1.5'' of the wire u want to tie into the car, twist it so its not all over the place and feed it through the middle of the "loop", squeeze the wire back together to close the loop, then wrap it around the wire untill its done, then solder it and wrap it in tape, a good size piece of it too, and tightly too, and repeat for the next wires, sometimes i dont solder them, if its done right it will never come apart ive been doing this for 8 years and ive never had a problem
