Can you switch from a cluster w/ tach to one w/o tach? if so how hard would it be?

Very easy....just swap them, there's 3 connectors in the back, all you have to do is move the Speedo cable over slightly. they all just plug in.

switched mine with a cluster with a tach. just make sure you take that speedo cable out of the stock location in the middle. if you force it in then the cable could break. i did that once. so just unclip and let it hang free.

if your going to one without a tach then you need to move it to the center hole but why would you wont to get rid of the tach

im takeing it out so i can go with a 5" tach with shift light and some other guages im gonna need so i just think it would look cleaner. plus i just dont like the factory tach.

i've swapped over from a non tack cluster to a tach cluster, fuel gauge isn't responding, and the clock won't power on, is there a way to wire this up so that they do work? i noticed that the new cluster has marks on certain prongs on the cluster that were not used on the non-tack clusster, does this make sense? thanks in advance fellas.
