So my autoloc solenoids are starting to crap out. just arent pulling consistently anymore. they were only 11lb-ers. so no suprise there.

i have heard SPAL makes some great ones, but anybody know where I could get just 2 solenoids? and i also want to get switches for the interior to open the doors.

so where can i find 2 SPAL solenoids?
2 interior switches?
also, what lb solenoids do you guys have?

I know a guy who builds CNC mills and the like. He can get almost anything you want. Both he and his partner are engineers. Just call him up & explain what you want. Hope I can help. Contact info:

I would go with the 40lbs thats what i'm using and they work great as for the switches could you not just go to any automotive store and pick some up.

Aj -

i was told by my inspector that i need to put my inside door handles back in my truck for my next inspection ( although i no longer have it now so it don't matter right at the moment ) He said what if you have a accident and your under water you can't open the doors . I know you'd say that you'd open the window - think of the pressure down there- Just keep your inside handles.

hahaha, he actually gave u the scenario about being trapped under water? haha, thats hilarious.

well right now i still have the stock handles inside, but the rods arent there, all disconnected. i have had it inspected once allready and the dude was cool with it. he actually complimented me on the door poppers. so i think i will be ok if i eventually cover the doors.

he passed me that time only cause i had my door panels off - He said if i come back to get the truck inspected again don't put the door panels back on - or else put the interior handles back in .

you might be able to save them man, are they mounted horizontal or vertical? If they are vertical you would need to mount them horizontal because when auto loc solenoids get corrosion on the cylinders they will seize. I had the same problem, I took the solenoid out and oilded the cylinder, good luck man
