Why glue the carpet down? Could you not just use the plastic clips and push pins like the stock carpet? Take the clips off the old carpet and staple them on the new one and use push pins along the back (if you have a std cab)

Approximately how much does a carpet cost? I can't see it being too expensive, especially for a std cab like my application.

Your local upholstery shop has certain methods of installing the carpet to make it sit right. They get the carpet put in and all the things that are bolted down are not bolted tight, in 24 hours it "sits" and then they tighten everything. The OEM carpet IS glued. Just like the new one should be also. I did'nt do it, and Its all good. But it will be a plus to do it. Its there just to help it stay. You want to try to match the carpet just like the original. My carpet cost me $150. And I emphasize, do not screw it up!

I have my carpet in, and everything put back together! I also have my sub box installed! You cant see much of the carpet in the picture but you get the idea, right? And damn! I could not believe how much of a beast my sub box was!

Enjoy these pictures!

If you check the two sites that I listed I'm pretty sure that you will find that the carpet is cheaper then $150. Plus you can order free samples to make sure that its the color that you want. I have used both of these company's and they have good products that I recomend.
