alpine deck question

i have an alpine 9823 and flipping through the display choices it shows one where it should show song names (or thats how it appears) but it says that everything is untitled even with all of my genuine cds. i looked through my manual and had no luck solving this, any ideas?

there are two display options on the decks, one is the disc title and the other is the track title but the cd have to be labeled, when u burn a cd it should have an option to name the disc, i had this problem before a long time ago and i cant really remember

i havent tried a real bought cd on my new pioneer (deh-3700mp) but my mp3s do it. id love to have an alpine, they just look awesome but i can get the same thing that just doesnt look as cool for 1/2 the price so...but hey dont get me wrong id trade you straight up! -bf

i've sold that deck a hundred times If you want original CDs to show text look for The CD TEXT label when buying them otherwise w MP3s you need to label them like already mentioned
