thinking about this dual voice coil 10" eclipse (SW6000), 300 rms 900 max at about 83 or 84 sensitivity pushed by this class d mono amp (XA1000). what do you guys think?

you cant go wrong with eclipse in my opinion, they have a nice crisp clean sound to them if your box is built right and they are powered correctly, other option i would suggest it kicker stuff, there L7 8" subs need 1 cubic foot sealed, perfect for a reg cab truck

this sub requires only .75 cu ft. i like the kicker subs. i hooked up 2 8" comps for a friend of mine. he didn't want much bass but got much more than he wanted. those things are pretty bad! i have never owned eclipse but i have always heard good things about them.

yeah i used to sell eclipse and kicker at a shop i worked for, i liked them both but became partial to the kicker subs for some reason, i think like you said, you get a lot more out of them than you would expect, but the eclipse subs are just as nice

well i just ordered them both. the wife doesn't know yet. haha. she is going to be a little pi$$ed, but i told her that when i sold my 2 15's and 2 amps that money would go to the system in my truck, so i will probably have to remind her of that. now i can't wait to get it in and hook it up.
