hey bro, havn't heard from you in a while. we never got around to meeting up so i could give you that part for your dash. if you need help with glassing your dash just let me know. i am down for helping anyone out. i've been rolling without a dash for about a year now cause i wasn't sure if i wanted to build a dash or what, but then i figured it would be easier to glass the stock dash seeing as how it already has all the mounting holes. i have been working on it for about a month or 2 whenever i get a chance. it is looking perty good.

when you get back hit me up. i keep thinking about going back to j-ville and visiting some old friends. maybe that will be my excuse to the wife. haha.

i will post some pics as soon as i get done. it really isn't hard if you know how to work with fiberglass. it is still kind of a learning experience because i have never done this to a dash.

Sounds sweet I can't wait to see it.

I can't decide if I want to glass mine. I know it'll probably get painted, but I have everything else planned for my interior except the dash surface and if I'll run HVAC controls or not. I'd kinda atleast like to have a defrost function...

Mike, depending on which way you go, you can set up the ductwork underneath to stay in the defrost/heat setting and leave it there) no controls. If you don't want the temperature contol showing, you can setup a slide lever under the dash for temperature. The blower control can also be hidden under the dash. This would allow you to get rid of all the HVAC controls without actually loosing there function. If you need any details let me know as I am in the process of customizing the dash of my daughters truck.
