Heat and air controls

Has anyone moved the heat and air controls to the glove box area, where they can still be used,I want to put my screen in the dash,but the truck is my daily driver so I still need the heat, if someone has done this I would like the details. Thanks

Most people I have seen get rid of the vent control and the fresh/recirculating control. Then they move the temp and fan speed controls over next to the steering column. Its looks pretty good there.

i believe midnightmike did a small write up on this a while back...look thru some of his posts.

mazdamandan might be a guy to talk to about it. He's made a custom dash for his truck and relocated the controls.

IVe seen it done in other cars using bike brake cable. You can relocate them to the glove box andjust route the cable back around the way it needs to go. Since its stiff and inside of the tubing it will still work even though it is routed back over and around itself. Just secure it good close to where it ends so it doesnt flex around too much.
