Interior Time!

we'll im new to the mazda scene... i bought my 88 mazda b2200 in May 2006 and it just sat around till about September, now im finally tearing into it which makes me really happy! but the first thing i did when i bought the truck was tear the interior out and planned on starting over from scratch almost..... so far i made new door panels and recovered them with a crushed velvet (not the ghetto looking stuff) it looks very simple and plain, im not a huge fan of tweed so i went a different direction. the next thing i did was recover the piller panels with the same stuff, next will be the headliner then the stock dash will be getting fiberglassed. im also getting new carpet from Stockinteriors.com which will be black, along with some black leather blazer buckets seats that will be chopped down. i will have pictures up tomorrow evening i hope!

Yea get some pics up. Did you cover the whole door or did you leave the metal along the top? When I got my extended cab in February, I removed the back seats and belts to make room for a sub box. Still havn't got that installed... lol

sounds like it'll turn out nice. I hate tweed too,especially when EVERYTHING is covered in it.

In my truck,I'm doing the stock buckets,door panels and headliner in charcoal suede,and I'm also going to be using the same company to get my carpet from too. All my plastic trim will be painted body colour (primer for now,but eventually charcoal metallic) and the dash will be painted or fiberglassed and painted to match,with a half wrap billet wheel,billet window cranks and arm rests.

i thought about running some kind of suede or velour on my doors and stuff... fiberglassin dash.... it'd be different
