horns not working? why???

My horn isnt working. What is there to check. I looked if there was a fuse and I see nothing. When the cars off and i hit the button i kinda hear something but idk.. any ideas?



I need to get the truck inspected and I ned this working!

I just got a new exhaust too today =) 190$ not bad I guess. I still have a leak in the front which i have to go back to them and bitch at. but yeah!

may be a bad ground,may not be connected at the steering wheel,could be a bad fuse. If it's a fuse,should be in the fuse panel under the dash. Just pull them out and check them. If that doesn't work,check the connections at the steering wheel (have to remove the horn cover on the steering wheel with 2 screws on the back of the steering wheel spokes)..if that's ok,then check under the hood and look at the horn and connection.

If it's none of that,the only way I can help is I suggest you look at the "blinker" thread in this same section and see my use of hand signals. LOL

sounds like crazymikey said you've got a loose connection, check at the horn, it's mounted behind the grille, also check the connections at the steering wheel.....don't forget the fuse block too....

when i got my mazda the horn didn't work and i also heard a sound when i pressed the button. All i did was reset that breaker thing in the fuse box inside by the driver speaker. Try it probably the same thing as me.

its in the fuse box inside the cab by the steering wheel. its in the middle of the fuse box. Its a black rectangle with a red dot in the middle just press the red dot. o ya im talking about a 92 here so if yours is one of the ones before 86 it might be different

I hit one and fried my horn and the passenger side corner light

Reminds me-I need suggestions on a better horn.Mine sounds like a bumblebee fart.BJ
