Alright, now I've got a recent pic of my interior all put back together and approximately 98% completed. I need a grey or aftermarket steering wheel,to change my driver's side seatbelt,a grey headliner and a lens for my dome light. I've got a grey headliner from an ext cab,but unfortunately I can't cut it to fit because where the dome light hole is positioned is too far forward and it'll leave me with a gaping hole just before my back window.

Anyways,I've got everything assembled and put back together and in working order, stereo installed, and it's all good. My dash and all the trim and everything was all really dirty, grimey, oily and basically, just generally nasty, all from the truck I got the stuff out of and from where it had been stored. So I picked up some Armor All Orange protective wipes, and holy crap, they made my interior come out like brand new! They are AMAZING! The only downside is that they leave your hands really clammy and wrinkly after using them,so I'd recommend to wear a glove or something.

Anyways, here's a pic! Yes,I know,it's nothing special looking,it's just all stock stuff, but when you see the 'before' pic, you'll see all the work that's gone into it to to get it to this point. I haven't even started the customzing yet...

Plans are to get a new carpet, reupholster the seats, door panels and headliner in charcoal suede, half wrap billet BAD Inferno wheel, billet pedals and knob, custom shift boot, sub and amp,and billet window cranks. Just keeping it simple and clean. I might 'glass and paint the dash too and trim too. We'll see.

looks nice, you must have founda nice LX to take the interior out of, how well does that center consol work in a standard cab?

you wouldnt happen to still have the burgendy interior, some stupid person broke into my truck when I was picking up my grandmother, stole some christmas presents, meat, my radio and insurance info!?!? since I installed my radio, it was extremly hard for the to get out, the had to break the radio pocket in half to get it out. pisses me more off that they broke the pocket then taking the radio cuase it was broken, jokes on them! since all they took was under $500, the cops wouldnt do anything about it.

thanks,
Mike

Valiant, that sucks about the break in! I still have some of my burgundy stuff, but my radio pocket is one of the pieces I don't have. I had to trade it for the grey one, lol.

I dunno if it was an LX or what, but the seats and door panels are from a B2600 ext cab,the carpet is also from an ext cab and I had to cut it to size. I don't know what the dash is from because it was already pulled from a truck and the console I think is from an ext cab. I have like 4 truck's worth of interior parts, lol.

Anyways, the centre console is sweet. Not only does it look good, the arm rest is a god send and the storage compartment is very handy, seeing how space is extremely limited in a std cab and the glove box fills up with junk rather quickly.

It's funny how a swap like that makes it feel like a completely different truck now. It's a totally different atmosphere inside.

yeah, I just swapped buckets over in my standard cab 4x4, I really wish I could find an LX that had a grey center console cuase they are pretty nice, only thing I wish is that the stock center consoles had cup holder. The door panels that fold over the top of the door are from LX trucks, they are really nice.

thanks anyway about the pocket, your interior turned out nice,
Mike

Yeah,I drink* and drive regularly and I've found that I can fit a cup perfectly into the armrest compartment and still close the armrest,so it acts as my cup holder.

Valiant,
I am justy starting to teardown an 89 standard cab. The interior's still there.
I'm in Vernon, B.C and if you pay shipping you're welcome to it, shouldn't be too much
