heater does not work in my 88 mazda

i'm havin a trouble with my heater in my truck! the cold air work's but not the heat! and on the dash the temp gage does not work sometime's! i replaced the sensor for the temp! but not luck on that! the blower still work's!




need some help!

Hmmm....I would try replacing your thermostat. If it's not functioning,your truck will either run cold all the time,hence not giving you heat,or it will overheat.

I have a similar problem,where my truck only blows heat. However,I did just put my dash back in,so there's a good chance I may have installed something incorrectly.

Thermo for sure also make sure the core is not bypassed

Check the air/heater selector in your dash, it might of broke. When i got my truck I had no heat so I replaced my heater core and put everything back in there, and had same problem. I check that and replaced it for 20 bucks from ebay. So i would check the cold air/heater selector 1st.
