passenger side air vent.

how do ya get the damn vent off i tried and tried and cant do it!! can anyone help thanks -bf

it comes out from behind, either have to take out the whole damn dash, or you can try to take out the glove box assemble and get at it with a small screwdriver, or an angled skew bit with a drill

No way man... you can only get that frickin' thing out by removing the entire dash. I tried several ways on my dash and that vent was not coming out for nothin'. I ended up rippin' it out to see how it was held on and the screws are on the backside.

Also, you can't even do a partial dash removal... I tried!! Everything has to come off.

Search the site for "lalunette" and you will find a post from a forum member that details all the steps.

Finally, what year is your ride 'cause I have the official Mazda shop guide for an 86 B2000 and it has detailled pictures of the procedure.

well if i aint to cold tomorrow then i might try to put my neon in my vent...along with my heater work but with my luck.....-bf

ahhh,the warming glow of neon....

i donno why but i always have loved neon...and i got it all put in sept the side vents other than that i love it. its perdy bright. later on i plan on gettin some for the roof. right now i just have foot wells and the tranny hump. oh and the long heat vent in the middle. have you saw it? -bf

no i havent seen any pics. The only place I like neon if any in my vehicles is in the foot wells or speaker grilles.

My truck will never see a neon light in its life.

i seccond that...actually mine will "SEE" them when im pimpin down the strip at Myrle and wrightsville..yehea...but none will set foot inside..

well my dome light wiring is messed up and i need light so thats y im puttin so much in.
